I had been a court stenographer for over 30 years at that point. I had spent decades in courtrooms, depositions, and hearings where every single word mattered. Where accuracy wasn’t a preference, it was the job. Where there was no room for error and no room for excuses.
So when people started talking about AI transcription and what it meant for court reporters, I didn’t panic. I went and learned it myself.
I got certified as an AI Consultant through AI Innovision. I started using the tools, testing them, and understanding exactly what they could and couldn’t do, especially in high-stakes legal settings where certified transcripts and professional accountability are not optional.
And the more I learned, the more I realized that most people around me were afraid of something they just didn’t understand yet.

I teach court reporters, women in business, and professionals across the country how to use AI tools in ways that are simple, practical, and actually useful in their real work. Not theory. Not hype. Real tools, real results, and real understanding from someone who has actually been in the room.

My Story
The moment that changed everything for me wasn’t a big, dramatic event.
